The Process
-
Educate
The more we understand the process, the more we believe we can get there and see results!
-
Building Evidence
Gathering evidence to support the brain’s role in your symptoms. Looking for triggers and inconsistencies, building hope in the process.
-
break the pain-fear cycle
We work on changing our relationship with our symptoms and teach our brain that it is safe.
-
Build New Pathways
Our brains are plastic and allow us to replace pain pathways with alternate pathways towards healing and positivity.
-
Soothing the nervous system
Get out of flight or flight and strengthen the vagus nerve response to rest and digest.
-
Somatic Tracking
Changing our relationship with our sensations and looking at our sensation through a lens of safety.
-
Re-Framing Thoughts
Recognizing negative or fear based thought patterns and re-framing them to support safety and healing.
-
Feeling Emotions
Emotions can also signal “danger” to our system. Learn how to feel emotions and reduce the impact they have on your day to day life.
-
Getting Back to the Good In Life
Stop letting your sensations be the reason you are not living! We teach the brain we are safe by showing first!
My Story
I HAVE BEEN IN YOUR PLACE and experienced first hand what it is like to live a life of experiencing chronic pain. 7 years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, and I thought my life was over. I had full body pain and could barely stand on my feet for extended periods of time. As someone who grew up a very active person with rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, I was determined to find a way to get back to being “me” . I used many of the approaches I now teach to re-take control of my body and now I am not only healthier but I became an acrobat! I am also the living and breathing proof that these practices work and can say today that I no longer live in pain. I went on to learn the systematic way of teaching others how to overcome pain with a company called Lin Health. This brings me here to share with you everything I have learned along the way and save you the time from having to discover it yourself or maybe you never knew there was a way to be free! I will be here every step of the way to guide you through the process to building a pain free path!
Is this for you?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, then this process may be right for you!
-
This is a common trait with neuroplastic pain behavior. The intensity tends to have days where it can feel improved and others it feels worse.
-
Often with neuroplastic pain and symptoms, there are multiple concerning areas in the body that come up. Sometimes in large areas or different sides of the body.
-
This is a result of conditioned response, where our brain remembers past injuries and trauma to the body.
-
You have ruled out any major medical concerns and scans have come back inconclusive. Some inflammation can sometimes be detected but is normal.
-
Stress can often increase pain sensations. Stress is one of the many triggers but others include, light sensitivity, weather changes, sitting or walking, physical activity and more.
-
We often see a correlation between life events and pain coming on. This is our brains way of protecting us from these changes.
-
These are common personality traits in people with chronic pain or symptoms.
